What you'll work on
- Work as part of a blended team of government and contractor personnel including data scientists, data engineers, and analysts
- Support a range of activities and hands-on support for structured and unstructured data
- Support advanced data problems and data modeling
- Support data interpretation and results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques including simple data aggregation and statistical analysis up to an including complex data mining
- Support data-centric solutions through database support, big data analysis, and implementation of data models
- Apply industry and technical knowledge to support advanced and complex projects, as requested
What we're looking for
- U.S. citizenship
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Local to Wash DC Metro area and available to support on-site work 5 days/week (Northern Virginia locations)
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, operational research, or related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience supporting a related IC data analytics environment
- Experience using open-source tools, cloud computing, machine learning and data visualization
- Hands-on coding experience (varies by task) including Apache Hadoop, and Python
- Experience in a data analytics environment, and the use of open-source tools, cloud computing, machine learning and data visualization
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to work in a dynamic team environment.
