At ABB Corporate Research Center, we explore new technologies and solutions on behalf of our business areas. We work in a department which is dedicated to creating innovative automation solutions to support ABB and our customers. The research team’s focus is on industrial networks and communication systems, belonging to the Automation Technology Department.

What you'll work on
- Initiate, lead, and participate in research projects focused on innovative industrial distributed and networked real-time systems.
- Design, implement, analyze, and evaluate distributed and networked real-time operating systems.
- Validate ideas and concepts through prototypes and experimental pilots with a clear business relevance.
- Disseminate results through technical reports, patent applications, and scientific publications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate research results into deployable and impactful solutions.
- Build a professional network of internal and external contacts to actively share and acquire new knowledge across the organization.
