Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist with skills in Python, SQL, Generative AI, NLP, and Elasticsearch to join our growing AI and analytics team.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with data, building intelligent search solutions, and applying modern AI/LLM technologies to solve business problems.
This role will involve working on text analytics, semantic search, NLP pipelines, and AI-driven applications while collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytics workflows using Python and SQL
- Design, optimize, and manage search solutions using Elasticsearch
- Build NLP and Generative AI applications for search, document processing, and conversational AI
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis from structured and unstructured datasets
- Implement text processing and semantic search capabilities
- Work with embeddings, vector search, and information retrieval techniques
- Support development and deployment of ML/NLP models and APIs
- Analyze search performance and improve relevance tuning in Elasticsearch
- Create dashboards, reports, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with data analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Good knowledge of SQL for querying and data analysis
- Understanding of Elasticsearch and ETL tools.
- Understanding of NLP concepts including text preprocessing, tokenization, text classification, embeddings, and semantic similarity
- Familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Experience with data science and machine learning fundamentals
- Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON data handling

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
