Role overview
CMRU is looking for an intern to join our MR Feature Development team and contribute to the design, development, and testing of new MRI pulse sequence and reconstruction technologies for Canon Medical MR scanners. Students will be mentored while gaining hands-on experience developing products for the next generation of Canon MR systems.
What you'll work on
- Develop advanced reconstruction algorithms for new features on Canon MR systems.
- Work in multi-disciplinary teams to evaluate image quality and performance.
- Summarize work in the form of reports and presentations.
What we're looking for
- The ideal candidate is a full-time graduate student from an accredited college or university working towards a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Physics, or related STEM field.
- Student must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Experience developing and debugging advanced image reconstruction algorithms for MR.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MR physics.
- Proficient in Matlab and/or Python.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
