Cove Laboratory is a research organization built on the belief that science does not need to remain confined to the walls of traditional academic institutions. We believe the best minds are distributed across the world, and that meaningful discovery often emerges at the intersection of rigorous inquiry, structured curiosity, and unexpected insight.
We are seeking exceptionally thoughtful, analytically rigorous individuals with Master’s degrees or Ph.D.s in:
- Computer Science
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Bioinformatics
- Other quantitative and STEM disciplines
This is not a conventional role for someone seeking a conventional research environment. This is for individuals who are drawn to decentralized science, who understand the serendipitous nature of actual discovery, and who are excited by the idea of thinking deeply, building boldly, and solving difficult problems for the betterment of humanity.
What we're looking for
- A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, physics, bioinformatics, engineering, or a related STEM field
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving ability
- Demonstrated capacity for independent thinking and original research
- Comfort engaging with ambiguity, uncertainty, and open-ended inquiry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest in discovery, innovation, and human progress
