Role overview
*We are hiring a Data Platform Engineer to extend and improve our existing Data & AI platform, enabling other teams to efficiently develop and operate both traditional and GenAI use cases. The ideal candidate has a strong background in AKS.
Your responsibilities will include**
- Technically design and implement Platform Features based on Solution Architecture design.
- Manage and extend the platform's AI/ML framework built upon a managed AKS cluster.
- Collaborate with the architects to shape the design of the solution.
- Collaborate with the team and mentor junior Engineers to implement new platform features.
- Perform and steer POCs to evaluate new platform features and/or technologies.
- Analyze and fix customer issues and requests.
- Propose improvements for the AI/ML Platform’s robustness, scalability and security.
- Provide last Level support for Incidents.
- Test and document the implemented Platform features.
What we're looking for
- Knowledge and experience in building and operating AI Use Cases and applications
- Experience building a platform (rather than a solution for an individual project)
- Familiarity with compliance aspects relevant to AI & ML applications
- Experience with data or AI/ML related cloud services.
- Relevant certifications

- Primary Tech Stack: Azure Cloud, Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Databricks ML components, AKS, Azure DevOps, Terraform
