Responsibilities
- Lead data science projects from conception to deployment
- Manage initiatives to completion within fast-paced environments
- Oversee model building and deployment in production settings
- Mentor and guide team members in technical and project aspects
- Ensure effective communication of insights to stakeholders
- Apply expertise in multivariate time series modeling and other machine learning branches
- Utilize feature engineering and selection techniques for optimal model performance
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to inform modeling decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business goals
- Drive continuous improvement in MLOps processes and workflows
Basic qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a MLOps role focused on production model deployment
- Proven expertise in multivariate time series modeling and knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning
- Advanced skills in feature engineering and selection
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
- Experience with AWS cloud services, including Redshift and SageMaker
- Background in Databricks
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with capability to mentor teams
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail
- Track record of leading and delivering data science projects in dynamic environments
- Proactive mindset and strong coding skills
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of the Production & Supply area
- Experience with big data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques for communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders
