Role overview
- Hold a degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Have 1+ years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning
- Know how to design and evaluate models (feature engineering, model selection, hyper-parameter tuning, interpretability…)
- Write production-quality Python code using data and ML libraries
- Have a good grasp of MLOps principles (versioning, reproducibility, monitoring)
- Are fluent in SQL and comfortable with relational databases
- Communicate clearly and enjoy explaining technical ideas to non-technical people
- Speak Spanish and English fluently
- Think creatively and analytically — you don’t just analyze data, you look for better ways to solve problems.
What we're looking for
- Master’s Degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Optimization, or similar.
- Solid software design and testing habit.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Exposure to Big Data tools (Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, Impala…)
